As other reviewers have indicated, the rubber feet as positioned by the manufacturer do not contact the ground and need to be relocated by the user. I guess the color is as depicted, but I was expecting something richer. The walnut color is a washed out brown which is probably accurate but not what I expected. There were no flaws in the finish of my unit.I got this at the same time as a more modern aluminum stand, and this model is much better. More stable given its weight. One negative is they do take up more desktop real estate, but small price to pay for not finding my head phones on the floor along with a flimsy stand (which I have experienced). I have a large head, so my phones - Sennheiser HD 598s - don't exert much inward pressure on the sides of this stand. Some but not enough for me to worry about. I guess a person with a smaller head might find their phones fitting more snugly and be concerned about extended pressure compressing their ear pieces. One problem I had with another stand was it was too short and I had to compress my headphones or the cord would contact the desktop, stressing the connection point with the headset. In other words, it was too short for my big head headphones. Not a problem with the Omega. It's a neat design. Simple. One piece of formed plywood. Like the curves when your desk is probably going to have a lot of right angles. For $18.95 I feel like it was well worth it. Definitely recommended. 4.5 stars if I could give half stars. This headphone stand is nicer than expected.I've had this stand on my wishlist since I first saw it, but never purchased it until I bought some new headphones. The old headphones usually ended up in a basket that holds cables and various electronics accessories on my desk. It seemed like a good idea to take better care of the new ones and since I already had this stand picked out, why not?I didn't expect a lot for $24, so I was surprised that it was built as well as it is. The base is flat and stable. It seemed deeper than necessary, but after using it for a while, I believe that is why it is not tipsy. The wood has some visual imperfections, but is smooth to the touch with no rough areas. The shape is just right to hold earphones regardless of type or if they are adjusted for small or large head size.I have purchased other wood products online and had problems with the varnish not being completely cured. This stand had a hard finish and no odor.I'm very pleased with how well this stand works and it cuts down on the clutter on the desk while protecting the headphones. It's OK. I get compliments on it at work. You'll notice some craftsmanship issues if you pick it up and look at it closely, though. Things like: errant glue, or there isn't quite enough poly used in some spots. If I cared enough, I suspect I could lightly sand it down, and poly it myself. I do not care enough. It also has not destroyed my headphone pads yet - will update if it does.I have been keeping both my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros and my HIFIMAN HE-400I on these stands. It's about a 10th of the price of the real-deal.. so I'd recommend it if you don't want to drop $$$ on a headphone stand. If you want a wooden headphone stand look no further. This stand arrived in good condition with no chips or scratches. The wood has a gloss finish that is not overly shiny and a clean, straight grain. Nice classic look and it certainly helped to reduce the clamp force on my HD560s. HappyA beautiful stand. I just hope it can be more heavy and steady.I have used this stand for about a year now. I use to have m50x's on it, and now I have he-400i's on it. I listen to headphones daily- always storing it on this stand when not in use.Initially and most of the time, this stand is quite good. Far cheaper than the authentic version, but not without its nuances.1. its wobbly. it does not sit flat and I had to use some tape to balance a corner and make it stable.2. it has some 'twist' to it. the omega is not perfectly || it is a little |\. its not that drastic, but noticeable from top.3. its not really tall enough. I wear my headphones always on its largest head fitting and the bottom of the connecting adapter touches the base this stand sits on- causing bending.I love the look of this, but really wish I had gotten the woo audio stand instead had I known I was going to build a custom cable that had longer connecting adapters.Very well done...I wasn't expecting much considering the price relative to other brands but I figured if it wasn't that great I wouldn't be too bothered because it was so much less expensive. But after receiving and unboxing I was blown away. I don't know why you would want to spend more. First thing I noticed is that it came covered in a velvet bag with a draw string...totally necessary but a nice touch nevertheless. The quality of this stand is exceptional. Really looks nice, finished really well. I've done a bit of woodworking and understand and appreciate fine wood pieces, and this one is really something special. Very sturdy, well constructed, finished well, looks great... It's a walnut veneer on plywood. I don't see any wood filler anywhere. The urethane finish is done well...no steaks or blemishes I could find. It has two rubber feel (the circle kind with a sticky back you can find at any hardware store)...they're only on one side side, I'd wish there were four to all touch points on the desk are covered. Without hesitation I would buy again and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an omega shaped headphone stand. So for those who don't know, the original design was based off the Omega Stand, which cost over $200. Which I thought was a little bit ridiculous for a headphone stand. This is definitely a nice alternative at a much better price and the end product is very nice too. I've been using it for my headphone for the last little while and they look simply amazing!.A reproduction of the Sieveking headphone stand, which retails for several times the price. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are some placement issues with the feet, which are simple foam pads with an adhesive backing – the placement is a really minor issue in my opinion. The outer walnut veneer appears as pictured. There are no sharp edges and the finish is decent at this price point. Exceeded expectations. This works as intended.木の質感が、すべすべで、底部の滑り止めのゴムがあり、安定はいいです。ヘッドホンの保管には、ドライ庫に入れていますので、保湿面でも、木はいいと思います。
