I purchased this light with the express intention of mounting it on a Kubota RTV for the purpose of spotting deer. The light is high quality, well built, bright enough, and easy to install. The problem is it moves so fast, even in the slow speed, as to render it non practical for my intended purpose. The slightest touch on the remote controller jumps the light so far left or right, that the RV must be moved to shine the light on to a precise location.I'm told the factory is aware of this problem, and is working on correcting it. The situation is they will not accept mine for modification, even at my expense, and will void my warranty if I do it myself. It is also almost impossible to communicate with the manufacturer. They do not respond to emails, a phone call resulted in them giving me an 800 technical assistance number that is out of service in my area, and an on line chat resulted in "I apologize, but I can not assist you with that problem". They also could also not provide a phone number to confer with "technical assistance".I sent the light back, and intend to buy a new one if they ever correct the problem.Pros: well made good looks easy to installCon: remote turned on the GoLight on a near by boat that was in the marina - easy to solve that issue though, just read the instructions and change the code. The light is very bright and has a good beam. I bought it because I wanted a spotlight on my boat. I looked at many boats and this was the most common one I saw. I followed up be reading the reviews and made the choice to buy it. No regrets! It took me longer to decide where I wanted to mount the light than it did to install it.I researched lights for my 30' Century center console and crossed my fingers when I ordered this go-light becouse it was cheaper than the others. It showed up earlier than expected and intact.... That was great.... I then installed it on the t-top and wired it in....It is awsome and works great. the motor sounds smooth and the light is more than enough to get me back home at night. Pleanty of candle power and the remote is sweet if you can keep track of it. I velcroed it inside the electronics box.... When this boat goes I will buy another one.Purchased this expecting it to provide the luminescence advertised. We just complete our boating trip with this light and it was completely useless. unless you are using it to assist with anchoring its not worth the money. We had to buy at Walmart a hand spot light to use in its place. Extremely disappointed with product and return policySent this back after I tested it with a car battery, not near bright enough for what I wanted, a 400 luminis light from Walmart for $29.95 works better. LED lights are much brighter. Also had problem with the mounting system. You would think it would be pretty simple to just bolt this thing on?? They use a bracket that is not very secure and hard to mount. Remote works good, but that was it.BOUGHT IT FOR COMPANY USE, JUST WHAT WE NEEDED, HAVE ABOUT 15 IN USE AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM.These lights are junk. The motors will fail within a few years-I would search for a different brand. This is a great light. I have it installed on a water transport trailer at the rear. The dash remote I got works it perfectly from the dash of my Peterbilt. It is bright and I can move it anywhere I need it with my handy pocket remote. Would recommend this product to everyone.
