make this better: 2021 Hyundai Sonata Plug and play, zero issues, straight forward setup and use, worked immediately and continues to work. It's great that you do not need to load additional software on your already crowded app screens. Bluetooth solid and never has dropped Even an old XR works solidly with this wireless Carplay device., (IOS 18.2.1) I like the compact and straight forward design of this wireless Carplay unit , doesn't feel too cheapish either like the others I've looked over. I can say goodbye to being in a rush out of the car into a building from the rain only to realize I've left the phone in the center console wired to the car for carplay. I also have a piece of mind that I don't have to worry about the smash-n-grab stories people are talking about when someone notices you've forgotten your phone in your car. Now the only things missing that could make it better are: 1 A pass though charger for those that only have one USB port that just happens to be the car's wired Carplay port as well. 2 An SD car slot to load up music on My car has a second power port and there is always the option of getting one of those cig charger ports or a battery pack for your phone but the idea is to de-wire, de-clutter and not have to break things out to use them. In all I would mention this to anyone looking for a wireless Carplay option and say give it a try, the price is nice, the build good, functionality is working and haven't had any issues. I only regret not having a newer android phone to see what the other side sees things as with this and v5.1 is pretty much a museum piece now. * In the world of phones and mobility it's sad that cellular enabled iPads won't work with carplay, yet Android offers some tablets that work with Android Auto along side the phones. Here's a polished version with improved clarity and structure:2021 Hyundai Sonata Wireless CarPlay Device ReviewThe wireless CarPlay device for my 2021 Hyundai Sonata has been fantastic. It offers a plug-and-play experience with zero issues. The setup was straightforward, and it worked immediately upon installation.Highlights:No Additional Software Needed: The device operates without needing extra software, keeping my app screens uncluttered.Reliable Bluetooth: The Bluetooth connection is solid and has never dropped, even with my old iPhone XR running iOS 18.2.1.Compact Design: The design is compact and straightforward, avoiding the cheap feel common in other units I've considered.I no longer need to worry about leaving my phone in the car. Whether I'm rushing to avoid the rain or thinking about potential smash-and-grab incidents, the wireless CarPlay device gives me peace of mind.Suggested Improvements:Pass-Through Charger: A pass-through charger would be helpful for cars with a single USB port that also serves as the wired CarPlay port.SD Card Slot: An SD card slot for loading music would be a valuable addition. While my car does have a second power port and I could use a cigarette lighter charger or a battery pack, the goal is to reduce wires and clutter.ConclusionOverall, I highly recommend this wireless CarPlay option to anyone considering it. The price is reasonable, the build quality is solid, and the functionality is excellent. I haven't experienced any issues so far. However, I do wish I had a newer Android phone to compare the experience with Android Auto. It's also unfortunate that cellular-enabled iPads don't work with CarPlay, unlike some Android tablets that are compatible with Android Auto.
